Nice Scarlet Begonias
The order of this is off a bit with some mislabeling. But the Scarlet (listed as FOTM) is really nice and moving.

Nice "sing along" show
Certainly some high energy too.
I focused my listen to the second set as they are releasing it thru the road trips series.
More than Bobby's fierce energy or the experimental nature of the night (strange exit out of space, Watchtower slow tempo) its really Jerry's shredding that makes this a notable performance. Just on point, not only getting the cues but executing them with strong vitality. We'll forgive the short post drums due to exceptional energy.
Is Bobby drunk or what?
Thanks Charlie! Excellent sound! Get this before they nab it from archive.

Let them have their tartar sauce
This show rocks! Plain and simple. I loved it when the boys warped things up like this. That Space>GDTRFB was toe tapping and taint tingling fun. Too bad Jerry's bitch went against all he stood for and took away the SBs...I believe bobby had something to do with that as well.

high-tech dead
MIDI-Jerry, Mickey's got the whaddyacallit pads going on, Brent's sound palette is broad and bright; Weir is a force!
i'm mildly astounded more people aren't in love with spring '88..
5-stars all around, performance and of course the fine recording.
Hampton thru this Byrne run is as good as it gets for late(r) 80s, in my humbleliciouslysergic opinion.

a bit overrated
good show, vg on paper, good effort, probably wonderful to be there, but honestly not clicking as effortlessly as others did, often struggling a bit. Still good fun.

Disneyland tape
This was a big tape for me growing up. We used to go to disneyland with the Dead blaring through our headphones. This was the epitome of what we liked to listen to on those wacked out trips. . But what this show special for us was not the well played 1st set, or the GREAT scarlet>Fire, nor was it the ever beautiful Terrapin. It was the way The Dead go into GDTRFB outta space. Just a neat thing to hear. I highly recommend downloading this show for anyone who is impressed by the setlist. The show measures up to expectations. Thanks for posting this version that has the Druz>Space. The other version is missing that but has some nice audience noise mixed in.
